Next team member
Anne Mannix

Anne is a London-based employment lawyer and a director of our London office bringing considerable skills and expertise to the benefit of senior individuals, professionals, directors and managers, together with a small number of corporate clients.

In common with David, Alan and Rachel, she had been an employment partner at DLA Piper leaving, in 2003, to become head of employment at BGC Partners/Cantor Fitzgerald. In that position she gained considerable experience in bonus and financial services related claims and issues.

Anne has advised institutions and senior executives on all types of employment law and partnership issues – unfair dismissal, discrimination, whistle blowing, termination, compromise/settlement agreements, bonuses, share options, contractual issues, grievances, discipline and employment documentation. She has experience of working on significant business protection issues (restrictive covenants and team moves), corporate deals (mergers, acquisitions and TUPE) and the employment aspects of restructuring and redundancy programmes. She is particularly experienced in the employment aspects of corporate deals and in restructuring and redundancy and is well placed to advise the individual who is affected by such issues.

Her recent roles have developed her interest in discrimination and whistle blowing claims and her clients value her ability to see commercial and practical solutions to complex problems.

For some years Anne has assisted as a legal advisor at her local Citizen’s Advice Bureau, and has worked on a pro-bono basis on a number of tribunal cases, dealing with complex discrimination issues. Additionally she is a trustee of two local charities in West London. She has presented seminars and webinars, and provided practical training sessions on a number of employment law topics.
