Career Opportunities at Averta Employment Law

Employment Solicitor Vacancy

A vacancy for one or more solicitors has arisen at award winning Averta Employment Lawyers as Rachel Broughton, one of our partners, has been appointed as a full time Employment Judge.

  • The key skills we are looking for in a successful candidate, will be a good academic record and a practical and detailed knowledge of all aspects of employment law, particularly discrimination.  The ability to solve client problems is important, as is a commercial approach.
  • We have an open mind as to the successful candidate’s PQE, although we would expect a more senior candidate to have a good reputation in the marketplace and would be likely to have a client following in the SME market.  It may be that we appoint two candidates, one less and one more senior.
  • If you join us, you will be working as a part of a team in a small, energetic niche practice, where flexible working is generally encouraged.

Averta recently located to the centre of Solihull where we have ample parking and access to restaurants, cafes and shops. There is even a gym directly opposite.

Salary and package will be attractive and start date is flexible although September would be preferred.

At this stage we would prefer not to receive approaches from recruitment agents. Individual candidates are invited to email their CV and/or telephone Alan Jones on 07970 495733 for an informal discussion.
