Employment Law Career opportunities at Averta

Vacancy for Paralegal – ideally with Employment Law Experience

We are currently looking to recruit a paralegal.  We are looking for someone with good academic credentials and, ideally, some experience working in employment law, possibly gained in the employment law department at a law firm or has experience of employment law in a different context. The ability to work as part of a team is essential, and to have a client focussed approach to work.

For the right candidate there may be opportunities to take a training contract and qualify as a solicitor in due course.  In the meantime, the paralegal will work alongside (digitally if not physically) one or more of the partners, associates, assistants or consultants and gain invaluable experience from practitioners who are highly regarded by other lawyers and clients.

Averta’s Solihull office is in the town centre, easily accessible by public transport and parking onsite is also available. At present there is a need for the successful candidate to work in our large socially distanced office environment, assisting our support staff in a variety of client focused tasks, as well as joining Zoom or Team calls with clients and other lawyers. .

If this looks like something that might be a good opportunity for you, please send your CV to Alan Jones – jonesa@averta.com. We will probably arrange a zoom interview with one of the partners, and one or more of the team, several of whom have started their journey as paralegals themselves.
