For me, the best thing about my role, is that whilst operating as a key part of the team; I am also learning and developing all the time from working closely with such experienced employment law experts.
Kieran has a Law Degree from University of Leicester and a Master’s Degree in Law (LLM) from the BPP University.
In 2019, Kieran was awarded the Outstanding Contribution to Pro-bono Award by BPP University for her exceptional support on a variety of projects. Kieran was Student Director for the National Street law Project which aimed is to improve legal literacy by promoting the understanding of law. This consisted of delivering presentations to audiences in places as diverse as Prisons, Schools and Homeless Shelters, to educate people about their individual rights.
Kieran was one of the very first participants participating in the Solicitors Qualifying Exam Pilot Study for the Solicitors Regulation Authority in March 2019.
Prior to joining Averta, Kieran had gained considerable experience in assisting the clients, lawyers, and support staff as a paralegal in the litigation team of a local law firm which she is building on in her role in Averta.
Kieran joined Averta as a Paralegal in 2021 and has now progressed to be a Trainee Solicitor.
