Yassar Sadiq joined the firm in early 2025, bringing with him over seven years’ experience from Irwin Mitchell, and has developed a reputation for delivering clear, strategic and commercially astute advice in both contentious and non-contentious matters. Yassar’s practice focuses on advising both employers and individuals on a wide range of employment law matters. He is particularly experienced in advising clients through sensitive workplace issues and high-value negotiations, including exit strategies and settlement agreements.

Yassar qualified in 2021. He holds an MSc in Business, Management and Law, completed alongside the Legal Practice Course, and a Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL), both from The University of Law. He began his career as an employment paralegal, legal assistant, and had placements with several Birmingham-based firms, providing him with a strong foundation in the realities of workplace disputes.

He has considerable experience in handling complex matters including unfair dismissal, discrimination, redundancy, whistleblowing and disciplinary proceedings. Yassar takes a pragmatic and commercially minded approach to resolving employment disputes, and is focused on delivering clear, strategic advice to senior professionals and executives.
