
Andrew Lester joined Averta Employment Lawyers in 2018. He is a very experienced employment solicitor who throughout his career has worked on a wide variety of employment law matters. He is as comfortable acting for directors, shareholders and senior executives as he is acting for businesses, large and small.
Andrew has a comprehensive understanding of both contentious and non-contentious employment law matters ranging from Unfair, Wrongful and Constructive Dismissal; Discrimination claims; TUPE ; Redundancy and business reorganisation; Settlement agreements; contracts of employment, handbooks, policies and procedures; dismissal and grievance procedures. Clients can take comfort from the experience he has gained from such a wide variety of cases.
Andrew was formerly a Partner at Bowling & Co Solicitors in London where he headed up the employment law team where he advised SMEs, partnerships and Individuals as well as representing clients at the Employment Tribunal.
Andrew has experience and regularly represented both Employees and Employers in the High Court and County Court in matters concerning restrictive covenants and breaches of confidentiality.
Andrew studied law at Keele University and the College of Law Chester. Andrew plays rugby for St Leonard’s in Stafford and is an avid Tottenham Hotspur Fan.
